Beverly Caimen and Aldeza Ianna Dela Torre were hailed grand winners, Senior Grand Champion Performer of the World and Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
Singing group Gollayan Sisters bagged the Senior Grand Champion Vocal of the World title, and Filipino model Reynaldo Gorospe was awarded the Male Model of the World honor. Goin’ Bulilit” star Chacha Cañete received two silver medals after competing at the Broadway, Pop, Gospel/Inspirational, Open and Original categories, while Edison Yatco one gold medal in Senior Instrumentalist category.
ABS-CBN balladeer, Jed Madela was inducted into the WCOPA Hall of Fame, alongside Hollywood icons Liza Minnelli, Jennifer Holliday and Arnold Schwarzenegger
