Fourty-seven passengers are feared dead while 11 are injured after their plane crashed while trying to land at a Taiwanese airport on Wednesday evening.
The transport minister Yeh Kuang-shih said TransAsia Airways flight GE222 had been attempting an emergency landing, which the airline blamed on bad weather due to typhoon Matmo.
The flight, TransAsia Airways GE222 was flying domestically from Kaohsiung to Magong.
